DESCRIPTION:Description\n\n\n\nThis course is designed to reach female students who are brand new to firearms and ready to take the next step with their firearms skills\, tools\, and mindset. \nThe fundamentals of shooting will be introduced\, reviewed\, and built upon\, while also exploring universal safety rules\, situational awareness\, common types of handguns\, ammunition types\, marksmanship skills\, advanced firearms handling\, defensive pistol fundamentals\, and the use of deadly force. \nSpecifically\, Women’s Handgun and Self-Defense Fundamentals is all about sharing the basics along with the fun\, the seriousness\, and the importance of being a responsibly armed female. \nThis is a great first step or introduction into a few advanced principles and dynamics. For those who are looking for a class to better equip them for a concealed carry course…here you go! \nThis course is instructed in a welcoming environment for all skill levels\, and will be hosted by two of our best female instructors! \nEquipment required: \nEye and Ear Protection \nFirearm (You may rent one if needed – Rentals are $10.00) \n100 Rounds of suitable ammunition for your firearm \nFAQs \nDo I need a FOID card for this event?\nNo\, a FOID is not required to attend the course. \nI don’t have any experience!\nNo problem! That’s what we’re here for! \nAre there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?\n18+ is ideal for this course \nWhat are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?\nWe are co-located with The Tac Shack Indoor Shooting Range on North University Street in Peoria. Our parking lot is more than adequate and is ADA approved.
