Improvised Weapons and Defense Workshop

$35 – $40Due to various factors ranging from personal beliefs to state law may prohibit some from carrying a firearm or weapon for personal defense, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have options!
This workshop introduces simple and effective movements that are easy to learn, retain, and adapt. We also focus on tools that are readily available and legal to carry anywhere. From pens to frying pans, we can show you what to use and how to use it.

What must I bring to the event?
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn, participate, and engage in discussion. We suggest wearing normal “everyday” clothes to get as real of an effect that we can.
Is there an age restriction?
Due to the nature of the content covered, we suggest that attendees are 18 or older. Any younger, and a parent MUST be enrolled as a student as well.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We are located at The Tac Shack on North University Street. There is plenty of parking available, and we are ADA accessible.
What’s the refund policy?
We do not offer refunds, but we do allow rollovers. Meaning if there is a need to not attend the course, you may roll your slot over to the next available one.
